Knoll's End is the far west end of Live Moor, where the hill drops suddenly and steeply into the Faceby conifer Plantation and into Scugdale. The Live Moor Hill Fort is located here on the south side of the path, set back a little.

A long line of Boundary Stones passes over Live Moor, from Faceby Bank to the summit and then dropping down into Faceby Plantation. Many are lying fallen in the heather and blueberries.

This Live Moor cairn at 310m is also located along the ridge, further west, at the corner of a long row of boundary stones, many of which are very hard to discern.

The Live Moor summit cairn lies at an altiutude of 315m and is conspicous from a cairn further east along the ridge at 300m. The Cairn is a Bronze Age Round Barrow which dates to circa 2000 BC. The mound is 1.5m high and it is 14m in diameter. The surrounding ditch has succumbed to a natural filling in. There is a smaller cairn further west at the corner of the boundary of the line of boundary stones.

This ridge cairn, another Bowl Barrow, also lies adjacent to the ridge path and series of boundary stones. The summit cairn can be seen on the summit further up. Further down are two small bowl barrows very close together.

These 2 Bowl Barrows are in very close proximity and are part of a small cluster of barrows. They can be seen to line up with the cairn on the ridge top. As is the case with all the Bowl Barrows in this article, this cluster is listed as a Grade II Scheduled Monument. They are both 1/2 m high.
