Coast to Coast Through the Vale of Mowbray
Across the Vale of Mowbray
The Mowbray section of the Coast to Coast path is traditionally divided into two sub-sections, each corresponding to one day’s walk across gentle, lowland countryside.
This is the most level section of the entire route, offering peaceful walking through meadows, riverbanks, woodlands, and small rural villages. While parts of the trail follow minor roads, most of the route runs along field paths and public footpaths linking village to village across the Vale of Mowbray.
